Dear Miss Yoo and Supporters;
Sorry for this late response. The renovation of the building for making
a nursery school is going a bit slower because this is the farming
season in the village. People are plantin corn and potato for their
living. The masons and carpenters also need to work in their farm for
sometime.
So far we have collected rocks and timbers needed to renovate the
building. The masons have to collect the rocks piece by piece from the
quarry by hand. Also the carpenters have to saw the wooden planks and
beams by hand. Therefore it is taking time. The villagers volunteered
to carry the rocks and the beams to the renovation site.
The renovation work has also started. The walls on the ground floor has
been put. I have attached pictures of the old building that is under
renovation. I have attached pictures of the rocks and timber that we
have collected.
From the money that your group had sent for the first installment we
have paid for the rocks, and wooden beams. We have also paid some money
to the masons, who are working for the renovation.
It is going to take one more month for the building to complete. I wll
also send more pictures and report as the project progresses.

답장이 늦어져 죄송합니다. 농사철이어서 탁아소 건립을 위한 수리가 다소 지연되고 있습니다; 마을 사람들은 생계를 위해 옥수수와 감자를 심고 있고, 석수 일과 목수 일을 할 사람들도 당분간 자신들의 농사일을 해야 하기 때문입니다.
지금까지 건물을 수리하는데 필요한 석재와 목재를 모았습니다. 석수 일을 하는 사람들은 채석장에서 손수 돌을 하나하나씩 모아야 하고 목수 일을 하는 사람들은 손수 나무판자와 들보를 만들어야 합니다. 그래서 시간이 좀 걸리고 있습니다. 마을 사람들은 돌과 들보를 수리지역에 갖다놓는 자원봉사를 하고 있습니다.
이미 수리작업의 시작은 되었습니다. 1층 벽들을 세웠습니다. 저는 아래에 수리중인 낡은 건물과 거기에 이미 모여진 돌들과 목재들의 사진을 첨부했습니다.
여러분들이 보내주신 후원금 1회분으로 우리는 채석장으로부터 얻은 돌들과 목재들에 대한 지불을 했고 수리를 위해 일하고 있는 석수들에게 돈을 지불했습니다.
건물을 완공하는데 1달 이상이 걸릴 것이고 이 프로젝트의 과정들에 대한 더 많은 사진들과 보고서를 보내겠습니다.
