Memorandum of Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement’) made between the United Nations Office for Project Services (hereinafter referred to as “UNOPS”) and Green Korea United(hereinafter referred to as the “Local NGO”).
WHEREAS UNOP desires to provide funding to the Local NGO in the context of Tumen River Green Pilgrimage Project, and on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, and
WHEREAS the Local NGO is ready and willing to accept such funds UNOP through the administration of UNOPS for the above mentioned activities on the said terms and conditions.
NOW, therefore, the parties hereto agree as follows:
I. Responsibilities of the Local NGO:
1.1 The Local NGO agrees to undertake the activities described in the attached Terms of Reference (Annex A) which forms an integral part of this Agreement. None of the funds provided pursuant to this Agreement may be used any purpose other than those expressely set forth in Annex A.
II. Responsibilities of UNOPS:
2.1 UNOPS agrees to provide payment of funds as specified in Article IV below [and to]

3.1 This Agreement will come into effect on 25,06, 01 and shall expire on 31,07, 02.
IV. Payments
4.1 UNOPS shall provide funds to the Local NGO in an amount of U.S $ 5,000 according to the schedule set out below, subject to the Local NGO’s submission of timely and accurate expense reports:
U.S $ 5,000, upon signature of this Agreement.
U.S $ 2,500,upon receipt and acceptance of first quarterly report.
U.S $ 2,000, upon receipt and acceptance of second quarterly report.
U.S $ 500, upon receipt and acceptance of third quarterly report.
4.2 All payments shall be in local currency, and deposited into the Local NGO’s bank account of which the details are as follows:

4.3 The amount of payment of such funds is not subject to any adjustment or revision because of price or currency fluctuations or the actual costs incurred by the Local NGO in the performance of the activities under this Agreement.
V. Records, Information and Reports
5.1 The Local NGO shall maintain clear, accurate and complete records in respect of the funds received under this Agreement. The Local NGO’s books and records shall be maintained in such a manner that the receipts and expenditures of the funds will be shown separately on such books and records in an easily checked form.
5.2 The Local NGO shall furnish, compile and make available at all times to UNOPS any records or information, oral or written, which UNOPS may reasonably request in respect of the funds received by the Local NGO.
5.3 Within sixty days after the use of such funds is completed, the Local NGO shall provide UNOPS with a final report with respect to all expenditures made from such funds (including salaries, travel and supplies) and indicating the progress made toward the goals of the activities undertaken.
