목요일(8월 12일) 새벽에 도착한 메일입니다.
Dear Miss Yoo;
I would like to inform you that we received the money (in equivalent
Nepalese currency) sent by you into our bank account as your supoort for two months. This time it took longer time for the money to be deposited into our bank account in Pokhara city from the central bank in Kathmandu.
Now the school has started after the summer vacation. However, the monsoon has not ended yet.The monsoon will stay one more month. Everything is going well here.
With the money we recieved, we will use some money to pay the nursery teachers of our school. We will also provide $15 per month to the four schools for the improvement of learning environment for their children. We will also buy some educational and play materials for the students. We are also going to build a play ground for the children.
We are also going to make garbage dumping pits in the village and school. Also we will build garbage collection centers in different parts of the villages. The mother’s group and village committee will work together for the management of garbage in the villages.

여러분이 두 달분(5월과 6월분)의 후원금으로 보내주신 돈(보내신 금액에 상당한 네팔화로)을 받았다는 사실을 알려드립니다. 이번엔 카트만두의 중앙은행에서 포카라에 있는 우리의 은행구좌로 돈이 예치되는데 더 긴 시간이 걸렸습니다.
여름방학이 끝나고 수업이 시작되었습니다. 하지만 몬순기후가 끝나지 않았고 한 달정도 더 지속될 것입니다. 모든 것이 잘 진행되고 있습니다.
우리가 받은 돈의 일부는 탁아소 선생님의 봉급으로 나갈 것입니다. 또한 4개 학교에 $15를 지급할 예정인데 그 돈은 그 곳 아이들의 교육환경 개선에 사용되어질 것입니다. 아이들을 위한 교육자재들과 놀이기구들도 구입할 예정이고 운동장도 마련하려고 합니다.
마을과 학교에 쓰레기 하치장도 만들 예정이고 마을 곳곳에 쓰레기 수거장도 지을 예정입니다. 학부모회와 마을 위원회 사람들이 쓰레기 처리에 관한 일을 위해 협조할 것입니다.
