As for sending clothes, I would like to say that it will be good if we can
get the clothes for the children of the villages. However, I have to find
if there is any custom or duties to bring those clothes. I have a Korean
friend Kim Hong Sung, who lives in Kathmandu. If you send the clothes to
his mailing address, that should be okay. I am sending cc of this e-mail
to him, He will reply if he is in Kathmandu.
If you are sending the clothes with the people coming to Nepal from Korea,
there should not be any problem at the custom. However, if you send the
clothes through post office, there might be some problem.
Mr. Kim; Please let me know if you know about any problem sending the
clothes to your mailing address in Kathmandu.

Thank you for your reply about our question.
As I told you through the last e-mail, at first we planned to send them by air mail. But we came to know from Mr. Kim that if we do so, something sereous could happen in Nepal.
So we decided to find someone who will have a plan to visit Nepal and do us a favor by taking them to Mr. Kim in Kathmandu. Fortunately, a warm-hearted man named Mr. Kim Sung Gee, appeared. In spite of a burden of taking quite a heavy box with him, he will be willing to undertake the task. He is going to leave Seoul for Nepal around December 10th.
Now all we hope is that the clothes arrive at Nangi safely, and the children can get to wear them.
We hope the children like them.
Finally, we’d like to introduce a waman named Miss. Song Hyang Ho, one of your Korean supporters. It is she who received the clothes from a clothes company and suggested sending them to Nangi children. We all appreciate her efforts.

우리들의 질문에 대한 답장 감사드립니다.
지난 이메일을 통해서 말씀드렸듯이, 원래는 항공우편으로 옷들을 보낼 예정이었습니다. 그러나 만일 그럴 경우 네팔에서 문제가 생길 수도 있다는 사실을 김홍성 선생님으로부터 알게 되었습니다.
그래서 우리는 네팔을 방문할 계획이 있어 카트만두에 계시는 김홍성선생님께 옷들을 전달해 줄 분을 찾기로 결정했습니다. 다행히도 김성기선생님이라는 마음 따뜻한 분이 나타나셨고, 꽤 무거운 상자를 가지고 가셔야하는 수고에도 불구하고, 기꺼이 그 일을 해주시기로 하셨습니다.
그 분은 12월 10일 경에 네팔로 떠나실 예정입니다.
이제, 옷들이 낭기에 안전하게 도착해서, 아이들이 그 옷들을 입게 되길 바랄 뿐입니다.
아이들이 그 옷들을 좋아했으면 좋겠습니다.
마지막으로 여러분께 한국후원인들 중 한 명인 송향호님을 소개하고자 합니다. 한 의류회사에서 그 옷들을 받아 낭기 어린이들에게 보내자는 제안을 하신 분입니다. 우리 모두 그분의 노력에 감사드립니다.
